Just sold 20 of these and I told the guy I'd be happy to email them to him, but just wanted to make sure it's safe and that there's not a way for him to try to pull a fast one if he isn't honest. Should I ship the physical cards to his house in addition to the email just so ebay has a registered tracking number for the listing? How have you guys been dealing with this? Thanks in advance for any input.

I've sold about 150 of these codes in bulk lots and I e-mailed every one of them. I also required the buyer to respond to my message with the codes to confirm. Plus, I offered a first class mail shipping option totally optional, as well as e-mailed codes, for $1.75.

Never had any issues and all turned out to be easy transactions.

No, and do not e-mail them. It's been gone over many times in the past, it's just too easy for him to say he never got it. Especially since it can eBay.

If you sold it to a member here, you can trust, I wouldn't have a problem with it.

I've always interpreted the situation as: "Send me a photo of the card and we're good."

So hell no, don't just e-mail the codes.

Thanks for the replies, I've sold some of these before and the buyers left feedback quickly after my emails, but never have I sold a lot of 20 (worth about $50) so I thought I'd ask.

I think I'm going to email them, ask him to reply to confirm that he received the codes, and then ship them also just to cover myself.

Can't you just e-mail them thru eBay messages and that way the auction site can confirm you sent them?

But I'd just sell them here where Members are much more trustworthy (and save the fees). 8-)

Emailing them through eBay is completely fine.
I've sold tons this way and have had no problem.
If you ship them out, they may not get there in time anyway.
