Dice-K on 15-day DL

Red Sox put Dice-K on DL today, and call up lefty reliever Hunter Jones from AAA Pawtucket.

And why not call up Bard?

Here is the reason I think for the move: Jones is a lefty, and Lopez and Oki both have pitched a lot on this trip. Plus, he is a multi-inning guy. I think Bard will get a call, but they don't want to burn him out. Maybe ... maybe ... Jones is up for today's game, optioned back and Bard joins the Sox for the weekend series at Fenway.
