Does anyone really think that is TCU was in the SEC they would be still undefeated? and talking about ranked
teams played is weak...Is playing the #20 and #18 team in the country really any different from playing
the #26th and #29th team in the nation?

TCU played a few legit teams, they beat Clemson by 4 and squeaked by Air Force, those teams are NOT
comparable to teams in the SEC or Big 12. I don't think a team that beats 2 ranked teams and 8 cupcakes
should be considered for the national title game, but then again USC has been doing it for years and yes
minus the championship game, which has kept ALOT of good teams out of it. We all know a loss at the
beginning of the year counts FAR less than a loss at the end.

Remember how great Va Tech and Miami used to be in that pathetic conf they were in? Now they join the
ACC and suddenly its a different story. Sure each team plays decent teams and each team plays cupcakes
but its the middle of the pack teams where the difference is huge.

plus we all know its about money and no one wants to see Cincy or TCU in the NT game. That ain't going to
make money!

They played a played a tougher schedule than Florida and a slightly easier schedule than Alabama so what would lead you to believe they would be dominated in the SEC?

Dude...I keep up with TCU and they are reported on quite heavily here. There is no way in hell they played a tougher schedule than Florida or Alabama.Go ahead...post up a list of teams TCU played this year(I already know who they played) and lets match them.None of the teams TCU plays(for the most part save one or two) can even compete with the recruiting of the other schools.By that reason alone...the SEC and the Big 12 are freaking loaded with talent. The MWC is not.Never has and never will be.TCU has a great team but I am tired of people acting like these lower tier conferences are way better than the big boys. Its why I really do wish they had a playoff system in place. But please don't try to compare the schedule of TCU to Florida or Alabama.

So strength of schedule means nothing to you then since you keep up with them?

Ha.

Okay. Here are the teams that are worth a damn that TCU has had to play.
Clemson
SMU
Air Force
BYU
Utah

Here are the teams that are decent that Alabama has to play.
Virginia Tech
Arkansas
Kentucky
Ole Miss
So. Carolina
LSU
Auburn
Florida

Here are the teams that are decent that Florida has to play.
Kentucky
LSU
Arkansas
Georgia
So. Carolina
Florida St.
Alabama

Now I see 8 good teams that Bama has to play and seven good ones the Gators have to play.I see 5 good ones TCU has to play. And that's if you can call schools like SMU and Air Force a good football school.I was going strictly by wins and losses of the opponents they are playing. If you want to believe that TCU had some tough schedule to go against...its fine and its your opinion. The rest of the world will most likely not agree. And if you want to say some of the sec schools go up against some cake teams and that's how they get their wins...I'll agree but you also forget...not every game they play is against cake teams. Most of the ones TCU plays against are cake teams. Its why I also feel the Longhorns don't get enough credit either.Playing against Oklahoma and OSU and Tech every year...those are three games that are pretty much garanteed trouble.Plus if Mizzou is doing worth a damn...you have to factor them in as well. And those are usually ranked teams too. Then you have USC out there living the good life not playing much of anybody.Luckily a few teams have come along and handed them the ass whippin they need.

The actual facts and numbers say that TCU had a harder schedule. It's not a matter of opinion. I posted the strength of schedule a few posts ago but I'll so again.

Alabama 24th
TCU 32th
Florida 37th
Texas 50th

Sure you can look at each teams schedule and say who you think is a tougher opponent but the actual numbers are saying that you are wrong. Yes Oklahoma with all of their injuries hurt Texas SOS.[/quote:xogekg0v]

You see...I'm not going by who I think is a tougher opponent...I am going by who won more games.Look at the teams TCU plays and look at their wins and losses. They are pure crap for the most part.Plus a lot of them are in a weak conference to begin with.Look at the teams I listed for Alabama or Florida and look at their wins.Look at the conference they play in.I know what you are getting at but I don't buy into the SOS crap. Some people do.Not me.[/quote:xogekg0v]

And that would be your problem. Wins against cake teams, something the SEC is notorious for doing, are giving you your argument. Also, I disagree that USC is living the good life. The Pac 10 is a strong conference.[/quote:xogekg0v]

So you are actually telling me based on the teams they played that Alabama and Florida played more cake teams than TCU?If so...I'll just shake my head and walk on this one.I mean...I don't really know what else to say. Here you all are complaining that TCU should get a chance yet who is the best team they played? Clemson?

And USC has traditionally played pretty cakeish teams. Its pretty bad though because this year...they can't even beat them.

The thing i find so funny is every one wants TCU and Boise in the BCS. But once they both go and if they get there asses spanked maybe then people will realize just because a team goes 12-0 in a non BCS conference doesn't mean they deserve to play in the BCS. Im not saying they will lose bad but it wouldn't surprise me if they do.

The only way i see them trying to avoid the two getting hammered is them playing each other. If that does happen i have a feeling it would probably be the lowest income they would get from a BCS bowl game in history. I think.

To "prove" themselves they need to play a BCS conference team. TCU can hang with any team in the country. I think Boise can, but if one were to get spanked it would be Boise.

You're an idiot. Boise St has already proven themselves by beating Oklahoma in 2007.

And you're wrong about the Fiesta being the lowest income game. Both schools' fans travel extremely well.

Sounds like you're just crying again because Iowa sucks

TCU would beat any team they are matched against with the exception of Florida. Actually they might beat Florida because they're but hurt about getting stomped by Bama.

Yea that is why Boise had the worst income from a fan base in BCS history. An it was 2007 not 2010 2 different teams buddy.

Please for the love of god stay on the baseball boards where you might be luckky and know something.
And why am i crying? i just want to see a good game Iowa is already going to the BCS. I dont have to worry about that. Me liking Iowa has nothing to do with having an opinion. Talking about Boise and TCU has nothing to do with the team i like.

Dude...you sure talk a lot of crap given that your post makes little sense. He's stupid? You're the one telling people that a team beating another team two years ago means anything now.And how exactly do you figure that? Iowa did pretty good this year and you saying something bad about his favorite team because you are trying to get at him is pretty childish. You are a troll.

Just ignore him.He just feels the need to act like a jerk to everyone.
Some people can't cut it in real life so they come on to the internet and pick fights with high school kids.
