Gilmore can you ask BG if this product has started to get put in packs yet? and if any of that ebay inventory that got taken down will be inserted into it before it's release. Also, will the one touch holders have some type of seal on them.

Gilmore any statement from BG on this? any scoop on how far along they are in the process of getting this stuff packed out ( ARE THESE EBAY PULLED AUCTION CARDS GETTING PACKED OUT) and are the one touches going to have a razor type seal on them. Also any ballpark #'s on how many of the big hit type names will be inserted in the product. We all know 1 Ritter and about 10 Ozzy from the podcast. What about other's.

For the big non sport collectors in here like chuck. Was inkworks the most popular maker of them. What about rittenhouse. Are those two the Topps and UD of non sport collectors. Any rumors on rittenhouse selling stuff off?
Also for those wondering what the Razor ebay id that was selling the inkworks cert auto cards on ebay it is wwwaitexascom that id sells a lot of stuff. Is it well know that is a razor ebay id before this all came to light about inkwork graphs. You can search inkworks autograph completed auctions and get an idea of what they had up. You can still see the closed/pulled auctions.

I did post on this in the non sport thread. Any news yet from BG? Another idea I came up with I put in that thread....
I would also like for them to reward the people still buying this product with a wrapper redemption. Where they use the remaining lesser autograph cards not inserted into boxes as a redemption for people sending in wrappers from the packs. Where you send in say 10-15 wrappers and sase or something any you can get a free inkworks signed card from the lesser extras that weren't packed out. I know years ago ProLine did this with there NFL extra autograph cards not packed out.
I think doing something like this would be a good pr move for them and add value back into this product. Also, reward those that are still going to buy it (or have preordered) and keep their faith in Razor products.

i can say that brian g has an open door policy if you wwant to call him yourself. no need to have gilmore do it if you have questions. i've called brian a few times and he has always answered his phone. his personal number is 214-393-4510.

I'm just going to wait for the company announcement about this issue. I'm sure they don't even know what they are going to do at this point. I just hope they go above and beyond and make this product a big hit. Because it had it written all over it before this. Heck, I didn't even pay much attention to non sport stuff till I heard about this product coming out. I was excited to add a few of these cards to my collection. This entire ebay store, front door selling some of these autos put a huge buzz kill on this. But luckily there still is time to change that. He wouldn't have pulled down all the auctions if they knew it wasn't a terrible idea.
If they come out and say all ebay store cards will be inserted into this product. They do end up putting a Jolie auto into it. Even toss out a few number on quanities of the bigger pulls and then do a wrapper redemption for the unused auto cards. Put a nice razor seal on the one touch holders. Razor wins back everyone. They turn a huge wrong into a right. This product is again red hot when it hits the streets.

I honestly don't understand why people are clamoring for this. Do you think it will add value to the cards for some reason?

I just think if they are going to add a nice holder for the hit card like this. Just put a razor seal on it. I do think it adds a nice touch and will make the card a little more valuable being sealed in it's case. I love it when topps does it with all the hard case packed cards they issue. If you don't like and want to remove the card, then those collector's can. But collector's who like knowing the card came packed out in a nice holder with a seal will be happy too.
Also with this product it will be a way to tell that it came from this Razor issue. Heck it's is even a nice way to get the name out as well. People will see these sitting in shops and notice it has a razor issued seal on it. Can't hurt.

Been doing some more digging on this product. The good news is from reading some stuff, some of the autos sold in this deal were redemptions that were never packed out and possible only a few ever got redeemed. So may be a chance for people to complete some sets. So even some small names may bring in some $. I was just looking at the closed ebay auctions to get an idea of what some pricing was and what were some of the more popular names. Almost all were priced above $10, most were in the $20-$50 range. With quanites from 1-6 sitting for each. Most had more than one. Here is a small sample. All had best offer options on them.
Smallville Tom Wepot Quanity of 5 at $80, Nichole Hitz Q2 at $35

Ozzy Osbourne sold one for $90 on best offer, had one left at $120
Didn't write down the name but Buffy season 4 had one at $60 with Q 4

Scooby Doo Alicia Silversone Q4 at $67.50
Angel Season 4 had Amy Aeller Q2 at $130
X-Files Burt Reynolds Q3 at $110
Looney Tunes Bill Goldberg Q3 at $30, Heather Locklear Q2 at $70

Angel Season 2 Julite Lardam Q2 at $110
Charmed Alyssa Milano Q2 at $175

This is just a small sample size of what was listed on ebay. Lots of X-Files autos and they were all priced pretty high. That must be one of the better auto line ups.
Also interesting to see what other stuff Razor has been selling on that ebay account. Looks like they busted a lot of Exquisite football.

This and this alone is why this a dangerous situation.

Everything is perception, and while Brian's hobby shop and Razor are two completely different legal entities, people view them as the same. That is a problem.

The fact that you (matchpenalty), a major supporter of everything they do, view these auctions as what "Razor has been selling" is a colossal eff up on Brian's part. The blurring of lines is never good.

This is why this was a "big deal"...more on a business perception than anything shady level...but it is/was a problem.
