A smart team would have RAN the ball and took some time off the clock even if it was taking a knee.........to Cincy time is a bigger asset than being down 7.
im pulling for Pitt but that botched XP is gonna cost them the game.
Eric, i was thinking the same thing, but Cincy would have just used their time outs and would have probably ended up only down a FG with still 1:25 or so left.
I almost by passed this game.... not a fan of either team... figured it wouldnt be a good game.... boy am I glad I watched this game.... great game and not having a rooting interest made it that much better.
Just got back from the game, here are my thoughts.
UGH, what a disaster!!!! The PITT special teams coach should get kicked in the junk, tarred and feathered, and then fired. After Gilyard returned the first kick for a TD and always gained HUGE chunks of yards on the other kicks, WHY ON EARTH would you continue to kick it to him???
PITT didn't deserve to win had they won, they played flat in the 2nd half and didn't seem to want it as much as Cincy did.
