Someone used hyperbole at an All-Star Game?!?!

Easy to say when dude is hitting .350+ during a contract year; talk to me next year when he's in the first of an 8-year contract and doesn't give a shat.

Anything's possible, but there's a long way to go.

500 HRs = no problem.

Signed,
Andruw Jones, 2007
age 29 with 368 HRs

Yea but Jones spelled his first name with a U instead of an E. It was only a matter of time before it caught up to him.

At this point he has about a 50 percent chance imo.

If he stays healthy and plays like he has, he's at about 80 percent.

Technically nearly everyone in the MLB under the age of 30 has a chance at the Hall. Nobody can call it until it is closer to the end of their career. Let's revisit this post in 8-10 years from now.
You could ask the same question about Jose Bautista. He is 30 and his numbers until last year were not worth mentioning. But if he continues to hit like this for the next 6-8 years it could be possible.

People are going because Jose Reyes has gone through Half the season without missing a billion games
He played 4 years in a row with at least 153 games. He's been hurt for 1. You are truly a moron.

And 3,000 hits will never be reached again besides A-Rod.

He's not going to start on any team. Maybe he'll reach it. Just seems unlikely.

I don't think you can say never. Ichiro might even make it.

Thome will do it if he plays another 9 or 10 years

Damon does it if he's still somewhat productive. 2 or 3 more seasons
