Wanted it? then never "too much"!

Agree, do I think you could have gotten them cheaper? Probably, but if you "needed them both" and got them both, you're good.

It was probably a fair value. Durocher is pretty easy to find, but that wasn't the obvious draw. Medwick isn't super tough, but would still cost you at least 50-75 or so as a cut (more for on-card signatures or what not). Sometimes it's better to pay a fair value for something to cross it off your want list, then be able to use it for an item to sell later when you decide to upgrade.

Me personally would have bought individual index cards with medwick around 60-80 and durocher 35-45. But, I also dont like the cut auto cards personally (since there is no pics or info on the cards). It is a low numbered card and you needed them so no you didnt pay too much. Great pickup.

although obviously not the same thing, and yours is a done deal.....
you could have got this R418-2 Ducky for $95 and I would have thrown in the Leo for free 1973T (Astros) or 1970T (Cubs)

both guaranteed to authenticate if you choose so, or 125% $$ back

but if your happy, thats all that counts in the long run....

No joke, two to the most recent customs I created for myself.

As for the price, SP Legendary Cuts cards always go for more than their index card brethren, so while the cost of the signatures is higher than stand alone index cards, it's probably in line with where it should be for a UD cut, give or take $25.

So you are the guy who stole that from me! The seller had it up about 2 weeks ago and did not sell. I kept it in my watch list hoping they would lower it just a bit ($25-$50)...I didn't buy that time or this time because I've got other offers pending for cards that would take that money. I think it is a good deal!

It's a duel cut that makes sense and I'm a Cardinals collector so the card had a obvious draw. I think it is a good buy for a PC but if you are wanting to flip it for cash, I don't think that will happen.

Good Buy!
