Anyway, back to the crotchitty old-man fest this thread is...

Yeah because this ******* isn't 31 years old and can't control himself on national television thats TBS fault. Wow I feel awful for the on field anchor who got blown off by Prince Fielder and then got two F bombs from Nyjer Morgan and then got blown off by him too. The idea that this has anything to do with race is ridiculous. Thats not how you conduct yourself in front of a national audience. If Braun acted that way i'd call him out just the same as I would Fielder. Race has nothing to do with it.

My point wasn't really that they shouldn't have tried for the interview. It's called tape-delay retards, look into it.

I wasn't watching that close, but was Morgan really even aware that an interview was about to happen? Seemed to me like they just stuck a camera in the face of a guy who just won a big game and got what they got. You guys acting all shocked are being stupid. It's like being all shocked because the post-game was held in a strip-club and you saw a ***.

Face it, for as much as you all claim that you'd "call out" Brauny for the same thing; the flip side is that Morgan could have given a choir-boy postgame, said "aaahhhhh, gotta go!" and this thread would have started anyway.

Yeah, why would they try to interview players from a team that just won a playoff game? What the hell were they thinking, trying to do their job and all? If you want to make believe Morgan isnt a dbag, go right on ahead. You can live in your own world while reality goes on around you. Being a fan is fine and all and supporting your team is the thing to do, but if we're being honest about whats going on, he's a clown and has been for quite awhile.

I'm not arguing ANY of that. I'm just making fun of you all for getting splinters in your pinks about it.

Actually you were. You were arguing that it was TBS's fault for trying to do their job and interview a player from a winning team rather than admitting the guy was being a tool as always. If you're cool with people from your team being ******** on the regular, good for you, says alot about the fan base that supports this. Im not talking about someone that lets one slip out from excitement, Im specifically talking about Morgan thinking he's funny or that his act is clever. Its annoying and its making his teammates look like fools for not snatching his ass up and telling him to knock it off.

If I liked the Brewers, I'd still be irritated about someone acting like this. I tend to like teams whose players have a little more class. Brewers definitely have a few classy guys, but the ones that arent cancel it out.[/quote:3b6wkn64]

Yeah, the sarcasm in my initial post sailed waaaaayyy over your head then. You can keep being passive-agressive about it, with the whole "if he were on my team" thing and "if you're ok with it, geez, I don't know" stuff; but you're either too sensitive about a swear-word on TV (which I don't think you are), or you're just looking for another reason to bag on Morgan and the Brewers (which you obviously are).

this thread is sad

I see why I find it hard to spend more time with people that are such a bunch of *******. Get over yourselves.
I can promise that I have as much hate for players on each of your teams as you claim for Morgan. But I don't waste my time trying to bring someone down that just had a game winning NLDS hit because he used the "f" word on cable tv. Seriously, it's pathetic.

This is so stupid.

They grab Nyger, he steps away and starts yelling up into the stands obviously very exited he just had a walk-off single to go to the NLCS. He was yelling **** yeah away from the camera and the mic and then they shove the mic in his face expecting to catch something different.

It isn't like he grabbed the mic and started yelling that right into the camera. Come on guys get a life.

Oh the poor women and children.... shut up.

Its not about the word he used. Thats not really the issue. Its his whole attitude. Its the act he thinks people enjoy. The only people really defending him here are Brewers fans, which isnt surprising. You can claim sarcasm all you want, but it either really wasnt or you dont know how to use it. Either way, doesnt really bother me much. I have nothing against the Brewers. I think Braun is a phenomenal player, Prince has proven himself to be a star in the league and Gallardo is beginning to establish himself as a respected ace. My dislike is for Morgan only.

There's so much sarcasm in this thread of people making fun of the complainers that people actually think they're complainers. haha

You're an idiot. After just getting a game winning hit, he thought "I know what attitude the fans will enjoy. Saying **** yeah on camera. I'll do that."

And it's not just Brewers fans that are saying it's no big deal. But mostly we're the only ones that care enough to respond to such inconsequential whining.

It was sarcasm. You're bad at detecting it. You really think I would blame TBS for something that some overly-excited guy said into a camera he was barely aware of? get a grip.

But you're right, this SHOULD just be about people's hatered of Morgan. I have no problem with that. But all these people acting like he just did something that was sooooo terrible and it made the Pope **** himself is pathetic. I don't think it's that big a deal, and think that people are being over-sensitive about it and are really just trying to mask their feelings about Morgan.

Im an idiot because I think Morgan is a tool and because I think this persona is annoying? Once again, it wasnt about the word he used (maybe you need some reading lessons as I said this before) but its the constant display as though he's a star in this league. Morgan is essentially a nobody trying to make himself somebody. If you're going to call someone an idiot, here's a tip, don't act like one yourself. At least hive17 has an argument, you are really just trying to ride the coattails of someone elses posts. Nice job on that one.

I know sarcasm well and your use of it was a feint one, but thats not really the point here. If people just hate Morgan for no reason or are joining in because the see others doing so, then I see your point. You might be right if people are using THIS incident to base their dislike for Morgan, but anyone that has seen his act most of this season isnt using just this incident. The language isnt an issue in itself, at least for me. Im not going to speak for everyone, because I know that I dont. My issue is the act thats gotten old and tired. For a team that sucked for so long and has been void of talent for so long, they have finally put together a good young squad that could be together awhile. I see why fans are willing to defend Morgan's nonsense, but truthfully, the teams' success has very very little to do with Morgan.

If people are masking their feelings about Morgan and dont like him for something like race, that really has no place, regardless of his behavior.
