I'm glad Giants fan chimed in.

More sarcasm, right?

No one can even tell anymore.

When it's funny it's easy to tell. With you, it's nearly impossible to tell if you're joking or still spewing your ironic rhetoric.

What's ironic rhetoric?

Irony is saying the Opposite of what is expected. Rhetoric (the way I think you tried to use it), is using over-exaggeration or bombast, or even just the ability to use words effectively. So you're saying I am speaking in a way that is effective communication, nay, OVER communication, in a purposely confusing manner?

Good one.

Let me help you out: I'm always joking.

I know I'VE never shouted any bad words when I've been excited about something...

...oh wait. Yes I have.

No one in Wisconsin cares what he said, for those saying Brewers fans should be embarrassed. No one outside the FCC, TBS, and guys looking for an excuse to jump on their high horse cares what he said.

It's just Nyjer being Nyjer. Does that work? Because it did when it was Manny being Manny.

It's their fault for putting a camera near the guy with the biggest mouth in all of baseball.

Anyway, back to the crotchitty old-man fest this thread is...

Yeah because this ******* isn't 31 years old and can't control himself on national television thats TBS fault. Wow I feel awful for the on field anchor who got blown off by Prince Fielder and then got two F bombs from Nyjer Morgan and then got blown off by him too. The idea that this has anything to do with race is ridiculous. Thats not how you conduct yourself in front of a national audience. If Braun acted that way i'd call him out just the same as I would Fielder. Race has nothing to do with it.

My point wasn't really that they shouldn't have tried for the interview. It's called tape-delay retards, look into it.

I wasn't watching that close, but was Morgan really even aware that an interview was about to happen? Seemed to me like they just stuck a camera in the face of a guy who just won a big game and got what they got. You guys acting all shocked are being stupid. It's like being all shocked because the post-game was held in a strip-club and you saw a ***.

Face it, for as much as you all claim that you'd "call out" Brauny for the same thing; the flip side is that Morgan could have given a choir-boy postgame, said "aaahhhhh, gotta go!" and this thread would have started anyway.

Actually Morgan sought out the interview came running up to the camera. And yeah I have heard of tape delays and there is no way I am going to put this on TBS for not having one. Absolutely its Morgan's fault; here is somebody who seeks out the spotlight, did it again tonight and acts like an absolute fool. Obviously he knew what he was doing and it was his fault, not TBS which is why he will be fined by Major League Baseball. And clearly I know Braun would never do something like that, but if he did i'd have the same reaction to that kind of behavior that I would if Morgan did it, this was my response to the racist comment. I don't care if you or black, white, or hispanic you do not act that way on national television. No matter how excited you are.

Actually this is all TBS fault. Its their responsibility to make sure the programing they put on is clean. Thus the 5 second delay. If the FCC fines anyone it would be TBS, not Morgan.

7 page thread on this? Really? He said frack ya, who cares. Bunch of pansies.

It's called jealousy. If Nyjer was on their team they wouldn't give a crap. I personally like the guy, he gives the team a fun playing atmosphere. Yeah, the Brewers don't have 27 World Series Championships...or even 1, but I like how they can have fun on the team. I hope Nyjer is with the Brewers for the rest of his career.

With some of the stuff that gets said on this board, with nobody getting all uptight about it, I'm surprised this even raises an eyebrow.

Well I'm going to get uptight.

You know Morgan said something in the heat of the moment that was inappropriate for some and apparently ok for others.

Personally I don't like the word BUT, I certainly don't like it when a few members use the words here in a futile attempt to be funny or sarcastic. We still have youngsters on this board and it IS supposed to be family oriented, so some of you who think your being "Witty" or "Cute" with your swearing here need to cut the crap!

--MODS, how about removing the offensive, stupid replies or just lock this damn thing altogether.

P.S. I'm not trying to win any popularity contests.

Actually, its not.
Manny WAS being Manny.
Nyjer is trying to be someone he isnt. He's trying to be someone else because apparently, the real him sucks and is a boring nobody like he always was. His craziness has developed a following for him. I can see crew fans liking someone "exciting" on their team since they really dont have a whole lot personality wise. Then again, baseball isnt about popularity, its about skill. The crew has plenty of that. The popularity happens on its own, or at least its supposed to. Morgan went out after attention and he got it. Its annoying and really kind of embarrassing, but if he's OK looking like a dolt and the crew fans like cheering for him as well as opposing fans hating him, I guess its serving the exact purpose it was meant for.

Who cares? As long as he didn't cuss out a Dbacks player or fans in the crowd, what is the big deal? He is just excited like anyone else in his shoes would be!

If you really look at the thread, it is less about what was said and more about WHO said it.

Had it been Braun or Fielder or even Axford, this situation doesn't get blown up near as bad or at all.

Nyjer just had the game winning hit of a deciding game 5 and was clearly overjoyed. **** may seem like a terrible word, but there are much more terrible words that he could have said that I would have agreed with being upset over.

awesome guy

NEW YORK -- Washington Nationals outfielder Nyjer Morgan will serve an eight-game suspension rather than the original penalties of two bans totaling 15 games.

Major League Baseball announced the decision Thursday following appeals. Morgan will begin serving the eight-game penalty on Friday at Philadelphia.

He was given a seven-game suspension and fined on Aug. 25 when the commissioner's office said he had deliberately thrown a baseball into the stands, resulting in a fan getting hit, at Philadelphia four days earlier. At the time of the penalty, Morgan said he couldn't discuss what happened.

His eight-game suspension and fine were announced Sept. 3, among nine punishments issued for a brawl at Florida on Sept. 1.

sounds really well educated too
During an exchange between Morgan and Cardinals pitcher Chris Carpenter on Wednesday night, Morgan decided to toss his chewing tobacco toward the lanky righty. First baseman Albert Pujols did what any good teammate would do, and he stood up for his hurler as Morgan and the Brew Crew's bench began to clear.

Pujols sprinted over to intervene and offered Morgan a few choice words. Apparently, T-Dot, aka "The Real T Plush," didn't appreciate Pujols' act and let him hear it on Twitter, saying: "Where still n 1st and I hope those crying birds injoy watching tha Crew in tha Playoffs!!! Aaaaahhhhh!!! ... Alberta couldn't see Plush if she had her gloves on!!! Wat was she thinking running afta Plush!!! She never been n tha ring!!! ... Anywayz!!! On our way back 2 tha Brew City 2 welcome them Phillys!!! Itz gonna be an electric series ... Ray Charles to the haters! Ahhhhhhh."
