Howdy Y'all,

My interest in BB and hockey collectibles has just been recently re awakened. I love reading a lot of the posts and seeing everyone's collections.

I've just started decorating my new man cave in the basement and hope to have some worthy pics to post in a month or so.
Recently I purchased a couple of old gloves off ebay and am looking to buy some old bats and vintage pennants to add to all the autographed baseballs, cards etc. that I already have.

Hey everyone,

The names Dave and until this past December the last cards I bought were Bowman Heritage 01. Saw a few packs of Allen and Ginter at a store and thought they were interesting. Decided to put together the Topps base and Heritage sets this year. No major pulls but did pull a Mike Stanton black printing plate 1/1. Thought it would be cool to try to collect all 4 and was able to snag the magenta plate that was on Ebay about a month ago,

Hey Guys! I'm Adam, I'm 22. I live in Greentown,IN very close to Kokomo,IN (maybe a little more familiar for people) As a kid my brother who is 15 years older than myself would buy me cards for my birthday and christmas etc. I loved them, thought they were the coolest thing. He collected from the ages of 15-22 and now that my nephew is interested in cards they collect together. It's a good bonding experience for us 3. I recently started collecting again. I've collected toy tractors, die cast rusty wallace cars, records and band t-shirts and now Ive moved back to one of my original loves. I am a huge Atlanta Braves fan. I was 7 years old when they won the '95 world series and I remember it like it was yesterday and I have watched the '95 WS tape a thousand times. My favorite players happen to be the World Series Heroes Tom Glavine and Dave Justice. When I played baseball I would try to copy everything those guys did rather it was pitching or hitting. I collect their cards mainly but I do love anything to do with the Atlanta Braves. I collect a few other playes as well which you will see in my signature. Looking forward to being involved in this community.

Thanks,
Adam

Hey everyone! I am new to the boards, but certainly not new to the sports cards hobby/business. I owned a store (brick and mortar) for 12+ years. Currently I do alot of selling on ebay.

I must say of all the forums I have been on fcb seems to have the best sense of community around. Everyone seems really willing to help one-another and the flame wars are kept to a bare minimum. I appreciate that!

I collect Pete Rose and Cincinnati Reds cards. Although I focus more on vintage stuff, I do collect some new Reds cards.

I look forward to learning alot, having fun and helping out whenever possible!

Hi, long time lurker first time poster. This site inspired me to go through each and every card from my "retirement fund" collection of 100k+ of late 80's and early 90's classic junk wax.

It was a ton of fun. I ended up binderizing sets from 87-90 as well as a few other later sets I forgot about. (1999 Upper Deck looks great in a binder). I also bought my first packs in 6 years and first singles in 15 years. (2000 Topps and 2005 Topps boxes, 1986 Topps Traded set, 1981-82 Bird Second year, one of the holy grails...1986 Donruss Canseco-Rated Rookie, a bunch of Bo Jackson cards I was missing).

Lots of good memories. I hope to keep a little momentum without accumulating too much. I'm looking to pick up nice cards of Hank Aaron, Warren Spahn, Bo Jackson, and Pedro Martinez as well as any other singles that were out of reach when I was growing up. I'm also a big Red Sox fan (I have some nice Yankees cards available!)

Thanks for reminding me how much fun this stuff is.

Hey there, new recent user here, Danny. I work over at a local LCS and am always on the lookout for any current prospects. I'm really high on Nick Franklin, Everett Williams, and Michael Choice! Hope to be dealing with you soon!

Hey there, Jeremy from Rhode Island here. Been lurking around here for a while, courtesy of the feeds @ sportscardsuncensored, but I knew it was only a matter of time before I signed up. And here I am!

I started collecting again in late 2008, and have been slowly trying to rebuild an epic card collection I accumulated from 1988-2001, and had to sell off once the real world hit after college. I can usually be found obsessively rummaging through dime/quarter boxes at the local shows, hitting up the few good shops in my area, and on COMC, rejecting insultingly low offers and hopefully helping some collectors get some stuff they really want. Hoping to make some deals and trades, maybe end up with some good stuff after all is said and done!

Hi everyone, I've posted here a couple times after joining FBC in January but haven't formally introduced myself. I'm finally getting back into sports cards, which was my true childhood passion, after more than a decade out of the hobby. I've been really impressed by all the camaraderie and support I've seen, as well as the wisdom from other board members, and hope to be an active part of the community going forward!

also special thanks to jdbrak, with whom I completed my first purchase on FCB (1996 Leaf Signature Gold Pedro Martinez, looks beautiful!)

I collect a lot of random stuff, mostly Dodgers (including Brooklyn) but currently am focused on beefing up my Pedro Martinez and Mike Piazza collections (but also dabble in Jeff Bagwell, Ichiro, Randy Johnson, Bo, Maddux, Robby Alomar, etc.)

Look forward to seeing everyone online!
