Hi Frank, first off welcome to FCB!!! I do recognize your user name from Network54/PSA. We have quite a few vintage and pre-war collectors here and actually have a separate forum for the vintage collectors, that you might find interesting. There a quite few net54ers/PSAers over here as well.

oh and BTW those are very unique pieces you posted. Good luck with your collecting!! :D

Re: Brand new to FCB

I have surfed this site on numerous occassions but just recently signed up.........I love baseball and huge fan - among numerous individuals... I once belonged to a Rotissiere League in Regina, Saskatchewan, Canada(14 years). I had to give it up because my radio job is too time consuming and I could not commit to it like I wanted. I live in a province that's not quite the hotbed for baseball, but I do follow it closely.

I was wondering?? whats the safest and easiest site for loading my photo's on to....I know of several but I'm looking for feedback on easiest, safest (secured), reliable etc:

I have have been collecting cards for some 35 years and have ammassed quite the collection. I'm right into the Bowman baseball Rookies, auto's and sp's.... I love prospecting and follow the minor leagues daily.....I will also dabble in other brands for certain individuals.

I have never sold on ebay, (not fond of having ebay double dip with paypal and the charges) but looking for trustworthy collectors to trade or sell. My policy is to ship the card once the funds are recieved.

As soon as I find some downtime I will load up a photo page. (or is it easier just to attach to message?)

we currently do not support attachments to messages, because photobucket bandwidth is much cheaper than ours.

Photobucket accounts are kinda the norm around here.

Hello, I'm new.
Was told these forums would be a good resource.

I am a beginner at card collecting, but I think it is going to be my new hobby/addiction.

Hi folks,
Been looking through this site for a couple of months and joined a few days ago so I thought I'd say hi. I got back into collecting just over a year ago after a ten year break. I'm already a member of SCF (same user name) and have done a few trades there and hope I can make even more here. I'm currently working on 2010 Heritage and have just started to collect Adam Lind cards, I hope some of you guys can help me with the Linds! Also I live in the UK so I hope you guys dont mind international trade.

Hello everyone!
This is my first day here. I'm mainly a hockey collector living in Oiler country, but have recently taken an interest in Baseball and this seemed like the perfect place to get to know the hobby. Some of my questions/posts might be simplistic, so I hope you'll bear with me and help me gain some knowledge!

Brian.

Hey folks!
I lurked for a while and finally decided to sign up. Great place ya'll have here.
Collected heavily in the early 80's to early 90's. Mostly current stuff but some vintage. I took several years off before getting back into the hobby. I concentrate mainly on PSA Registry sets of 1960 and 1969 Topps baseball. I'm always on the lookout for mid-grade T205's. BGS graded Texas Rangers are the only modern cards I actively collect, though I do enjoy opening a box of Bowman baseball or Allen & Ginter every once in a while.
