Hi guys!! Just joined today, looking to meet more fellow collectors out there. I'm hoping someone could help me complete what has now been a year of chasing: the 2007 UD Black base set; I completed last month the Prodigious auto set that I started to "keep myself busy" while waiting for the missing base cards to show up, guess I now need something else :lol:

I'll probably start a thread with the scans of what I have so far, just to show some of the patches; and of course I will ask for everybody's help in getting the last few pieces!! With the National right around the corner, maybe this will do it.

Hello to all I am new here and did not see this thread until now. I have previously started a thread posting what I am looking for and introducing myself. I apologize for doing this a little out of order. My main PC consists of Dodgers (Ethier first), although it is not that big right now it is growning. When I first started collecting, I was just buying boxes and not trading anything. Now I have a little more focus and trying to build my PC. My wife has also started collecting and her PC is of the Marlins, seeing how she is originally from there. We are starting her off slow and got some low end Autos, GU'd and Base. As my thread in this forums shows I am looking to complete the 2006 Bowman Chrome Cory Rasmus rainbow. In my PC, I have a few really nice cards, not all are huge dollar some are worth a little. One that stands out is a 2001 Bowman Chrome Gold Refractor Ichiro. I also have my first Mantle auto in the mail, I will post that up when it arrives. So anyhow, most of my trading consists of going for the PC first, then anything nice that can get me PC items next. Thanks for taking the time to read, I hope I can get some trades done with some of you.

do you what Chri on youtube? his costumers always seem to be busting black, and most do it through him to get them out in the open for trade.

anyways, I will keep an eye out.. awesome set to collect. looks amazing. funny that the patches are nicer on the numbering you collect than the low #s. savvy move

Thanks a lot!! I actually watch Chris's breaks every time Black gets cracked for that reason you mentioned; I actually completed the Prodigious auto set from Black that way, finding the Cordero and Zimmerman autos I couldn't find otherwise...

Another "trick" I used: do a photo bucket search and try to match usernames to the ones on all forums I go to... Who said insane??

Hey, my name is Mike, I've been lurking here for awhile, figured it's time to signup. I've been on SCF for 5 years and Blowout for a few months, but been collecting since the early 80's. I'm a NY Yankees, NY Giants and NJ Devils fan, but lately my collecting focus has turned to former Rutgers Scarlet Knights.

I'm always searching for rare David DeJesus, Jay Bergmann, and Eric Young in baseball. Mike McMahon, Brian Leonard, Ray Rice, Kenny Britt, Devin McCourty in football and Quincy Douby in basketball. There are other fringy guys of course and I'm interested in those cards as well, but when I start listing guys like Darren Fenster and Pete Zoccolillo, I know most people's eyes are just gonna gloss over... :lol:

Anyway - I'm still finalizing my Nationals plans for this week, trying to get down for all 5 days if possible, hope to meet some of you guys and I will definately stop by the FCB booth, got some of the promos at the East Coast National last year which made some nice local tradebait.
