If anyone was wondering, dad only gave me half a pack. Not all of these will be posted on the BB board, just thought of something different tonight.

What I don't understand, is (and I do this too) why if people read a post under the proper guidelines, they have to bash the person who posted it?

I know it says "Box break" and not "Pack and box break" but this has come up before, and yes, the person posting a pack cannot get blasted for this.

What I think is interesting, is that whenever you post, you HAVE to bash someone. I never see you make a positive post. What is interesting is, I haven't blocked you yet...

Sure you can do anything you like on this board, but with every $3 value Wal-Mart break you do and every stupid story about fleeing town from friends you lose more and more respect on here everyday.

1. I didn't flee town because of friends. I know nobody believes it, or wants to admit they believe it, but it isn't true, and as long as I know that, that is all that matters. It was just something that happened that night that I shouldn't have mentioned in the post. I was excited because I was going to see family, and when I get excited and tired, I say things and type things I shouldn't have. The concept of the post itself was dumb... I know only one member on the board who would have known the area that I was talking about.

2. My personal financial situation (not my parents, my own) prevents me from opening oodles of hobby cases, boxes, and usually even blasters. Cards are cards to me... I don't look at a card and see dollar signs. I will admit, a high end hit is way more exciting than a Topps base card, but busting is busting. I know, you can just tell me to get a job, and even though I know you won't believe me... I have tried. I will try again and again until I can find one. I plan on saving my dollars for something a little more enjoyable for people to read... some sort of a combo of... a case, a NICE non tristar, non just, hobby box, and a retail box that I would be getting as a freebie. It would be a butt load of packs, and it will be fun, but it will take me 4+ weeks of saving, and not buying singles or retail.

I respect a lot of you, and many of you have respectable careers and collections, but I can PROMISE you I won't change if all people do is lash out. If I get a PM full of constructive criticism, I will gladly listen and try and change. I don't want to be the board's clown, but because of other boards I have been on, I have built negative posting habits, and they have carried into here. I am starting to think about what I post, in fact, I have changed this reply about 5 times already, taking out more and more. I can't tell you how many times I want to post 100% nonsense, or something borderline to the fact, and I type it in and get an inch away from the submit button, before deleting it, and either re-writing it, or not posting at all.

I can understand frustrations about posts like these. I didn't think it would hurt to post a meaningless half pack break in a break board. I got nothing but base and inserts, and I am fine with that. It's what cards are... hit or miss. I miss like I do on a constant basis.

We all miss. We just don't post the misses. I pick up 3-4 packs of something all the time, but only post if I pull a decent refractor, insert, GU, auto, etc. Even when folks pull crap from Blasters, some like to see what's out there, check the odds, etc. Think about it--half a pack? It is kind of silly. But don't let everybody get you down. I thought the Cookie Monster was pretty funny. Laugh, and move on.

Mabey you have a bit of Tourette syndrome. Not trying to be nasty in any way, just by reading what you posted above. I used to be a little like that when i drank too much.
