Had a post last week about pulling my first cut autograph. Its a tradition of mine to open a box of Legendary Cuts every year just to see if I can beat the odds. This year happened to be the year as I pulled a beautiful cut autograph of Travis "Stonewall" Jackson, SS for the NY Giants in the 1920's and '30s.
I wanted to display this somehow, I couldn't stand the thought of keeping it in a shoebox so I went to Michaels (Craft store around these parts) and found a shadowbox on sale for only $6. I wanted to learn more about the player I pulled, and in my research I found the HOF made replica metal plaques the same size as a standard card. I found one on EBay and added it and the cut to the shadow box. Personally I think it turned out nicely. I'll probably end up hanging it in the near future...although I think I want to add a NY Giants logo somewhere as well.
Not the sharpest picture, but you get the idea!
