Cutler is partly to blame, but certainly not all his fault. I think the defense is most to blame, followed by the O-Line which is the reason for the poor running attack, and then Cutler. I think his WR's are okay, but if you improved that Oline, you would see a huge difference. This guy is still a top 5 talent QB. Build a team around him, he is only 25 or 26.
you would rate cutler ahead of kurt warner, brett farve, philip rivers, and aaron rodgers :benson:
last year yes this year no.

Every player has a bad season. Kurt Warner with the giants favre with the jets

I know reading comprehension is difficult for some on here and it's easy to just disregard some words in a statement, but he said Cutler is a top 5 TALENT in the league. That really has nothing to do with performance. Cutler is likely one of the 5 most talented QBs, certailny top 10.

so your telling me someone with a 71 qb rating and 25 pics is a top 5 talent :o ....if it wasnt jay cutler someone with those numbers would not even be in the league...by the way i think ron dayne is still top 5 rb talent lol

Hard to argue with logic like that!?

Cutler is perfect size, height, weight, arm strength. Mentally he has along way to go, but all the tools are there. He has hall of fame tools. You can't judge a guy in his first year in a system, with a terrible def and terrible Oline! And If I am building a team now, I would take Cutler over Warner and Favre. They only have a couple years left combined.

kurt warner barely played with the giants so i dont think you can count that as a full season like cutler..and favres numbers with teh jets were not as nearly bad as cutlers...and he was 38 years old to haha

and to bodiaz no Shat your not going to start a team with a 40 year old and warner...but at the same time bears will figure cutler is not the answer either

A smart GM would not make that decision this early. He would let it play out at least 2 more years when the Bears will have draft picks again.

Well even then when he 1st came to Arizona he wasnt playing like he is right now.

Even Favre him self has threw more then 25 interceptions he threw 29 in 05 24 in 93 23 in 98 and 99. So one bad season can not bring up that some one sucks.

Browns combined ints (Quinn/Anderson) - 16
Lions combined picks (Stafford/Culpepper/Stanton) - 28

Jay Cutler has 25. Only the Lions team has throw more picks. The Browns with their lack of standout WRs have 9 less.

Jay Cutler went off!

Played better then Mr Favre who has a team fully equipped to win games.

Jay is a hell of a quarterback. Put him with a decent wide out and he would play alot better. He didnt throw 25 picks when he had B Marsh now did he?

Any QB could succeed when they have no pass rush on them whatsoever. Jay did look good tonight, but who doesn't vs the Viking secondary? ::facepalm::

I thought the Vikings claimed to be a have a good defense?

Jay looked good and proved what he can do if the offense line gives him a bit of time. The O-line has been COMPLETE GARBAGE all year. I was shocked at how well they played tonight.

Also, would you say Favre is good because his o-line gives him a TON of time typically?
