I see on NBA.com they typically run about $300ish. There's an "authentic" on ebay I'm looking at that I can get for $155.

sure, but you're better off buying from a retailer as the fakes are so good anymore that its hard to tell. It might be better to go with a knock off as 99.9% of people cant tell the difference.

This. I bought my dad a John Elway throwback knockoff jersey. Instead of paying around $250 I got it from ebay for around $40 dlvd. I compared it to one at the Front Row Sports store at the mall, other than the price there was no difference that the salesperson or I could find. It was flawless.

IMO...you are better off buying a fake for alot less $$.
Those authentic jerseys are a rip off, while the knock offs are basically the same for alot less.

That sucks. I was going to say you should be able to get an Authentic for under $200....but just went to NBA.Com and saw the prices....man they jacked the price of those up.

Swear even last year they were a hundred bucks cheaper?
Is there some sort of difference with the jersey's this year? (See they are called "Revolution" not sure that was the case in the past?) And if there is a difference - I wonder if the ebay auction you're talking about is for last year's jersey..since that wouldn't be much of a loss (it'd explain selling an authentic at that price difference).

Found the answer to my own question - the "Revelotiion" is a new jersey for this year......guess it's made out of the climacool material - features mesh (breathable) patches and is more form fitting. Also, as I mentioned they are about $50-100 more than they were last year.

So I guess that's something else to keep in mind.
