Current players - 100%. Jerseys go directly from teams to card companies due to their liscensing agreement.

Great old players with rare GU equipment (Ruth-esque guys) - Close to 85-100%. I believe the dilligence one would put forth in spending a large some to acquire a jersey would help lead to authenticity. Not to mention, when something like a Ruth jersey sells, the game used community notices (Donruss' $255,000 Ruth jersey?)

Players from late 70's-early 90's - Less than 40%. I think there is so much of this material floating around that a lot of it is fake and with authenticators like Lou Lampson running around certifying any put in front of them, it's easy for a card company to pick up a certified game used un-game used item for their product.

I wish there was a "No Thanks" button to push.

That thread was about authentification of autos by grading companies. This thread is about authenticity of jersey cards put out by manufacturers.

If he had gone into that thread with this question, I'm sure the same people would have criticized him. This board really has changed lately. You guys can't keep your negative comments to yourself? You really have to take the time to hit reply and write up a negative response? Whatever floats your boat or finds your lost remote.
