Dodgers GM publicly rips Matt Kemp on the radio.

Dodgers General Manager Ned Colletti went on the radio and bashed Matt Kemp for careless baserunning and poor fielding.
He also said Kemp thinks he's better than he really is.

While Kemp is sometimes a idiot on the base paths and screws up every now and then in the outfield, he is still one of their best players. Some things are better left unsaid and he should have bit his tongue.

Colletti is an excellent executive. He was hamstrung by the Mccourt divorce in LA this off-season. You guys seriously don't like a GM calling out a player from time to time? I really hope you aren't the same people that get upset when players run wild, slack, lollygag, or dog it. Because that just wouldn't make sense.

I need to find a job where my boss can't call me out.....

Oh, I agree. What ever happened to "behind closed doors" meetings ? They worked in the past, but now, put a mic or a cell phone in front of someone and it's open season.

Why isn't Cashman destroying Tex in NY Post ? Why isn't the Seattle GM killing Chone ? Why isn't Texas' GM slaughtering Hamilton and Chris Davis ?
