Does anyone record themselves opening their big mail day purchase$? - Just in case there is a bogus card in the package?

Until I encounter that issue, I don't do it personally. I think its a good idea for everyone at certain self appointed price point though.

I've just looked back at some on the fly "just in case" videos - They are pretty ridiculous = trying to hold camera phone while opening... lol

I used to make videos. What works is if you sit at a table and prop your phone up on something. I always used a coffee mug full of pens. Then you are able to use both hands to open the package.

Doe anyone do this?

I did it once for a really expensive card where the feedback was not great. The video was not pretty lol as someone else mentioned trying to balance the camera right.

If I was going to be getting a Big purchase in, where I would think that It might be too good to be true, I would probably record it, and if nothing goes wrong, just delete it. I don't get why people are so obsessed about putting everything on Youtube, and what not.

Re: Doe anyone do this?

I recently started posting videos on YouTube of maildays. I don't collect high-end stuff but I thought it'd be fun anyways.

Well if you don't record it coming from the postman's hand is it really valid in a "proof" scenario?

I've heard of people opening their big mailday in front of the postman in case something isn't right.
