Oh Canada......
You use the 3 day listing rather then the 5-7 day? I am listing my Chris Coghlan X-Fractor Auto And Starting it now for it ends Friday Night.

LMK Your Thoughts.

Thanks.

I have no scientific answer so lets get logical here.More days equals more people who see your auction.More days also equal more time for people to scrape together more money to bid on items. There really is no reason to cut it short unless you need the money that much quicker. The season over and he will be just as popular 3 days from now as he will be 7 days from now.

The more days that go by, the more Coghlan's will be listed and that could drive down the actual prices.

Plus, the announcement just happened and its new news, whay wait until next week when itll be "old" news. By then, people who NEED his cards will have gotten them already from the sellers who had ending dates right after the award was announced.

Case in point: Matsui cards lit up after he won MVP, now? Too late.

3 day auctions probably work for Coghlan. However I would use some BIN/BO. List the BIN 10% above the post ROY market rate and i bet you get some people to bite. His cards will fall right back to where they were a week ago within a month.

This is pretty sound advice. If its a brand new product, just won an award/championship, extreme hot streak etc, shorter auctions work best. If its an older product, off season etc let the auction run longer.

You guys obviously know more than me when it comes to selling but wouldn't it have a better effect lasting longer?More bidders?Seriously...how many of his items were actually up when he was named rookie of the year? There are only 100 auctions up this very minute.Chances are more than 100 people want his cards. And if its not some cheap card(dinky base common) then it shouldn't hurt if it lasts a few extra days should it?Not trying to be a smartass to anyone.I don't sell cards so that is why I am asking.

I recommend the BIN

I listed a refractor and a base auto on Monday night with a BIN. Both sold pretty quickly, however the guy who bought the refractor has zero feedback and has yet to pay.

I have a feeling I might not get paid
