Topps needs to figure it out...with like 12 loser products in a row and only 2 winners all year they need to do something...stop printing every case that is ordered and then extra. Then when Topps figures out that they can't sell the extra to anyone they close it out to a distributor. Topps does not care about anyone in the hobby all they care about is padding their pockets...I have heard from numerous distributor sources that Topps will not listen to anyone about what they should do to better any of their products. I have personally tried calling Dave Reel (top guy at topps) and John Buscalia (V.P. of Sale at Topps), but neither one has the balls to answer their cell phones. Out of the 10,000 2010 Bowman Chrome cases produced, I would say you can make money on maybe 500 of those case....1:20 Cases nets a gain.....Wow!!!! Topps thanks for the great odds...maybe they should put that on the back of the wrapper...or maybe a sound should be activated once you open a case saying " you just got punked" Should Topps be the only company with an MLB license? Why are they still making football products? Once again only 1 winner product all year...way to go NFL at this point I would rather see press pass have the NFL license, then I sure everything would probably be at least be on card autographed. Topps is making Upper Deck look like a Fortune 100 company...

This guy is a complete moron. Just another disgruntled shop owner. These threads are so damn annoying.

I believe the real question at hand is if you'll dare tell Topps to their faces what you're telling us now.

I know exactly what is going on in this hobby. That's why I don't spend money on wax, I don't buy garbage sticker autographs, I don't buy game used cards (I doubt very many are actually game used), I don't touch preorders with a ten foot pole, I don't invest in serially numbered cards because they'll be devalued when unnumbered examples are backdoored, I don't buy redemptions that might or might not get fulfilled, and I certainly don't own a card shop and continue to buy and support a company's products who continually bend me over.

I buy cheap complete sets from mass case breakers who are naive enough to continue to believe the misinformation and flat out lies Topps tells them year after year

I love this mentality.

"If you agree with me, you're 100% knowledgeable in everything! If you don't agree with me, you're brain dead and have zero clue about anything!"

Chalk me up as another that you're not speaking for and I feel like I have a pretty good idea as to what is going on in the hobby. Here's a hint on them not returning your phone calls/ignoring them. You're just not significant enough for them to answer the phone.

GO TOPPS GO!

I had that thought a few days ago. Makes you pine for Topps Total. At least then you knew that, while there were thousands of cases being made, at least it was because there was a 1,000 cards in the set. Remember when packs were <$1? Good times.

PS: shop owners are some of the few left that don't actually know what's going on in the hobby; or they don't care.
