No, it never gets old.
I used to stay up past midnight watching Don West on Shop at Home because he was a total trainwreck.
Sometimes he'd appear drunk and knock boxes off the table.
Good times.

I can remember those late nights sitting in front of the TV when Sosa and Big Mac were running in '98...Haha Don West was a beligerant fool.. He would almost always knock cards off the displays, and always seemed to spit when he talked because he was so excited

Funniest part was when he asked if you could pull a rookie out of that set deal that would pay for the whole deal.Let me know if you guys find any $200 rookie cards out of any of that stuff. If you can then I am rich!!!

I love Don West. But nothing will ever be funnier than the time they had that knife/sword show and homeboy hits himself with like a kitanna sword or something. That was funny. ::facepalm::

lol me too

...and no it NEVER gets old...hes a true salesman. obnoxious, overbearing, loud, etc...(sometimes intoxicated like you said lol)

i always loved how he handles loose cards...he takes them and bangs them on the table. i cringe but then i realize...eh they were just a pile of 1989 topps baseball so it takes the sting off.

Shop at home use to be located locally. I use to stay up watching it when I couldn't sleep. Bought a box of Classic 4-Sport for $48 from them and pulled this.

The guy is a legend! I wasn't even collecting when he was on the air, but I used to watch him all the time. I still have a VHS tape that I put in one night and hit "Record" before I went to bed. I labeled it "Gem Mint 10" Haha
