Sold a $25 dollar Barry Sanders for $1 for my lack of knowledge on the set ::facepalm::

http://www.checkoutmycards.com/Cards/Fo ... 93/1016087

The 80/1993 was mine and now I realize it was a holofoil which I assume is the first 100

Just venting and making sure I am correct but looking at the scans I would say yes. I also assume this is on me even though comc should have listed it correctly.

Yes, the buyer knew what it was and relisted it. It will have the correct title tomorrow when he reports the error to COMC I assume.

It's still available isn't it? Listed at 18 now.

By a different seller. I think they bought it off J and relisted it.

BTW - it appears it may be our resident Jimmy Smith collector that has it for sale now. :?:

Yeah that was me. I promise it was nothing personal -- I hit the purchase button so fast I never even saw who the seller was.

As a buyer, I love COMC for deals like this. I once bought a 1996 Select Certified Mirror Red Premium Stock Steve Young for $2 (BV80) because they listed it as just a 1996 Select Certified Red.

As a seller, though, you really have to pay attention because they make that kind of mistake quite often. I think they have mis-listed about 1 out of every 50 cards that I have sent them.

O I have no hard feelings or anything. I honestly didn't know about the card until I saw it sell so fast. Nice pickup! Just a little mad at myself for it, along with whoever listed it at COMC since there is a Rice on the site so I know they know about the type of card.

And I agree about the errors they make, my first batch of 1000 cards had 8 or so mistakes that I caught.

I have some Jordan's that are going on in a couple weeks with a few promos that I will be watching closely so I don't make another mistake.

COMC>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>eBay

Contacted them about the error more just to point out that they listed the card wrong but still taking responsibility myself for also missing it and they gave me a nice credit for the error. Definitely great customer service on something that I wasn't expecting.

Wow, good to hear J. That's pretty impressive on COMC's part. I've only bought from them and like avoiding the BS from eBay.
