Do you have a link to the story? I am sorry to hear about this, but glad the guy in my dynasty league didn't trade him to me now. I hounded him for Brown and he just wouldnt give him up.

Domonic Brown suffered a fractured hamate bone in his right hand Saturday that likely will require surgery, costing the outfielder 3-6 weeks.
Too bad. He evidently suffered the injury while taking a swing Saturday even though he was initially able to stay in the game and single in the same at-bat. In all likelihood, we will see Brown sidelined well into April and possible longer. Ben Francisco immediately becomes the favorite to start in right field, though John Mayberry and Ross Gload could see time, as well.

hamate bone surgery is known to zap power production for a while, even after recovery...so it may be 2013 before we see any pop out of dom. :?

Wow, really? Is that injury that painful or something? Are you over thinking it or is it something that people have had problems with in the past? Never heard of it, but if it really zaps power.. thats a big bag of suck!

Phillies are done IMO. Rollins, slowing a declining a rapid pace. Utley has a shot knee, Ibanez can't hit, and Howard can't hit a curveball. Unless the 4 aces have a career year I see this year as the 1991 A's who had all the pitching in the world but declined and had a lost year.

I still don't see why the Phillies didn't go after someone like Jeff Francoeur. He would've been perfect to either platoon with, or in this case, start for the injured Domonic Brown.
