Both are pretty :D
Funny we were just talking about golds versus orange in regards to look when scanned....this gold is brown at best :?
will look sweet nonetheless in a BGS 9.5 slab.

Chrome all day for me. I have never and will never own a Contenders card. Those are the ugliest cards ever produced IMO.

I may be in the minority, but I would prefer the Gold Refractor. I'm not a huge fan of Conteders. I know the Gold is more Brown, but that should be perfect for Dom Brown, right?

How is this even a serious question?

The poll results beg to differ with you thus far.

i'd take the gold since it is much easier on the eye. the contenders cards are fugly, they lack licensing and feature a sticker sig.

I have both, but I'd go with the Auto. Base set SP autos have historically performed well in the past.

How can they perform well historically when there is no past, and probably no futures Contenders sets in Baseball?

I didn't know this was a discussion exclusive to baseball.
