just pulled from a couple of packs of philly football

a buyback of ben wilson of the LA Rams. HAve no clue about the year on this card and in the other pack pulled

Donald Brown from U Conn Mini hard signed auto 077/100.

I am not complaining about the pull just asking info on that card.

Personally i think Brown is the best back drafted last year. I know others would argue that, but i saw many of his games and i was surprised by his skill set. He has a good mixture of power/speed and his running style and ability to find the hole lend themselves well to the NFL imo. On top of everything else - Uconn probably had the worst passing game in the country, so i think it was incredible for him to lead the nation in rushing and put up the kind of numbers that he did facing 8 or 9 man fronts on every play.

He lead the nation in rushing in the big east

Also he had 367 attempts an got 2,083 an 18 touchdowns
now on the other had Shonn Greene had 307 attempts ha had 1,850 yards with 20 tds
Donald brown an uconn went 7-5 an Iowa went 9-4 with a bowl win im just saying Donald Brown maybe good but he was good in the big east. imo Shonn Greene was the best running back in the draft if he would of stayed another year an had the same type a performance he would of been a top 10 pick

Well that's why i felt I had to point out the fact the passing game was horrible....the 8/9 man fronts offsets the competition a little.

Though Brown did have 189 yds against Pittsburg to Greene's 147.
Brown did it on more carries....but I mean, that just proves he's a workhorse. And the fact that i was born and raised in CT has nothing to do with this assessment ;)

In all seriousness though - to the OP - he was a first rd. pick and plays for the Colts, so demand for his cards is pretty solid and even if I may be overvaluing him, it's hard to argue that he doesn't at least have potential.

Yea Brown did have more vs pitt but they also lost to pitt by 21points we lost by 1 witch was a bs game but anyway

i agree he does have potential i just think he's a bit overrated an i dont think he deserved to be a 1st round pick i think all the 1st round backs were drafted early thats just my opinion
