Donruss Elite and Donruss Threads exclusive auto question

I'm currently prospecting a player who only has 2 autographed cards, a Donruss Threads auto patch #'d to less than 300 copies and an Elite auto #'d to 700 copies. Which card would you rather have? I'm thinking Elite because it is a more reputable set but there are half as many Threads autos though some sellers that I've spoken with view Threads as a minor league set though Elite also isn't a licensed set.

That's odd considering Threads had HOF in it, and elite doesn't. Most people will probably say elite, but I kinda like Threads myself.
