I love how Donruss agrees not to produce cards, Panini swoops in and buys the assets of Donruss, and boom... Donruss cards.

I think their idea is spot on, but with the way those players signed back in the day, it is not made for such a small window. The subjects are awesome, but man they should have made the quads a booklet or something so that they could showcase the auto.

I have said it once, and I will say it again; one of these companies needs to make a Product featuring deceased musicians, I guarantee it would sell just as good if not better than a baseball cut product.

Not deceased but agreed all the same...although the Donruss ones look a lot better on the card design:

Does the chopped off lettering/words and words that should have been removed (on Ruth cut) bother anyone else? Or do I need to accept this as the norm?

Looks like legendary cuts. Remember the great names on that sell sheet?
Oh wait, this is panini?
Nevermind, half the product will be redemptions that will take a year to fill.

Pretty sure SHE agreed not to make baseball cards any longer.

She no longer owns the company, and these are not baseball cards... :)

heres your checklist

john lennon
elvis
Kurt cobain
2pac
Brad Nowell
janice joplin
Jim Morrison
Jimi Hendrix
Jim Morrison
Amy Winehouse
Freddie Mercury
Aaliyah
Sid Vicious
John denver
Michael Jackson

+1 booklet of the 27 club which includes Kurt cobain, janice joplin, Jimi Hendrix, Jim Morrison and Amy Winehouse

your checklist is 15 cards. Each member must be met with an untimely death. each card would be a 1/1. vote in or out of the checklist.

Add in Jerry Garcia, John Bonham, Syd Barrett, George Harrison, anyone from Skynyrd. It honestly could be a huge product.

There are a ton of musicians that are living that would be a huge draw to add to a cut product. The Dead, Phish, Kiss, Pink Floyd, Run DMC, Aerosmith, Boston, Zepplin, Foghat, Foreigner, Rush and the awesomeness goes on.

I know I would want a Geddy Lee "Wizards" inscription auto.
