And he's done. Good first start for him, glad his family got to see him pitch well. Hopefully the bullpen can hold 'em so he can also get his first win.

Nice. I bought up a bunch of Fister and now I can dump. Wouldn't take much of a bump at all to make a profit. The buy-in was stupid low.

On a side note, if I went to school with a guy named Doug Fister and my name was Doug, I'd be really nervous when he was around.

Yeah he was ridiculously low. To be honest, never really thought he'd get over the bump in AA. Obviously glad he was able to and here's to hoping he can make a career out of it. My name DOES start with a 'D', but it isn't Doug :)

I went to the game, been friends with Doug for 4 years or so, glad to see him pitch well, I still could use the red refractor if anyone knows of one....I have about 400 signed bowman base and base chrome cards as well :D

I took about 300 photos at the game, i can mabey upload a few later

Let me know if you do, I'd love to see them. If I find a duplicate red, I'll let you know. I remember talking to you before.

I am concerned his prices are going to go up. I got my couple orange refractors for what yours is already at Lisa.

Yah - again, just lucky timing for me. When I pulled it - I was like who the heck is Doug Fister?!

Last game he was relying on his fastball a lot, his changeup is more of his out pitch. I think he was trying a different strategy since Jeter got him early in the count earlier.

I remember watching him with the AquaSox when I lived in Everett... good stuff!! I made a (very) small investment in him with a lot of chromes and such... nothing spectacular... Glad to see him make it to the bigs!
