I think you mean Pomeranz. White can be traded without any hoops to jump through as he's been signed with the Tribe for almost two years. Even so, it would appear that Jimenez's health is the real hold up. After the Cliff Lee / Jason Knapp ordeal if I were the Indians I'd want to be as sure as possible that I'm not taking on damaged goods in a trade for the 2nd time in 3 years.

I think the Rockies are getting an absolute steal in this trade. Sure Ubaldo had a big year....LAST season. What's he doing this year? Back to being average or just above average.

He's a big name pitcher but there's not a snowball's chance in hell I'd be trading 2-3 top 50 prospects for him like the Rockies want (and apparently are getting).

I wanted the Yankees to have no part in Jimenez, especially for that price.

I'm just happy he's not a Yankee (at the price asked) or a Red Sox. Or Blue Jay or Ray for that matter.
