Dumb question on pricing

Ok I always wondered how to price a multiplier on a card.
So if you have 100 card and is says 1.5x does it mean 150 total or the 100 plus 1.5 x for a total of 250

Ok thanks that's what I figured but I've seen some with 1.2x and even 1x what's the point of 1x ????? I guess to let you know it's the same as the base auto?????
