Dwight Howard to join the Rockets...... or will he change his mind?

ESPN and USA Today report that Dwight Howard will sign with the Houston Rockets.... but it isn't July 10th yet... so he still has time to change his mind.

Earlier today the Golden State Warriors signed Andre Iguodala and reports now say they have agreed to trade Richard Jefferson and Andris Biedrins to the Utah Jazz to clear $20 Million of cap space. Could they make a late move to get in Dwights ear before he actually signs with the Rockets?

The Warriors would be LOADED if they could convince Howard to sign with them...

Sounds like he has possibly changed his mind.... now he tells the Lakers that he is 50/50 on joining the Rockets. :lol:

OK.... the Rockets are the team. He informed Lakers GM Mitch Kupchak he wasn't going to return to the Lakers and he told the Rockets he will sign with them.

Local news reported tonight that the Rockets are also trying to clear cap space and deal with the Hawks for Josh Smith. Morey is going into overdrive. Lovin it!

Rockets also potentially interested in trading for Rondo, although it appears unlikely they'll have enough to pry him away from Boston.
