I realize Bundy is selling for more than Bradley, but they seem very close in skill set.

Who you got?

Dylan Bundy

Archie Bradley

Everything I've read says Bundy is the clear #1 prep pitcher even though they're close. I like them both but I don't know more than the scouts do. Gotta go with Bundy for now.

Prior to the draft I did quite a bit of research, and I saw more scouts/baseball people put Bundy over Bauer and Cole than I did put Bradley over Bundy, but that might be because I don't remember seeing anyone put Bradley over Bundy

Bradley might be a better value right now, but I dont think there's any doubt that Bundy's the better prospect

Well, Bundy dominated the low minors in a historic fashion last year, working his way to a call up into a pennant race (albeit for a couple low leverage innings). Bradley, on the other hand, played very well in the low minors last year.

This year might be a wash because of the injury question. But it looks to me like Archie Bradley should become a Phil Hughes type, which is to say a tremendously talented workhorse type pitcher that is capable of great outings (they even have somewhat similar MILB numbers, ifthat is worth anything). Bundy looks to me to have a chance to be Roger Clemens type special, but also comes with a bit more risk due to size and injury.

I'm an O's fan and I wouldn't trade Bundy for Bradley.

I like Bundy still. I don't ever remember a pitcher dominating the minors like he did to start last year. I mean I don't give a rip about the orioles and even I was checking the box score every 5th-6th day to see what he had done that night.

Bradley beat Bundy in their high school state finals match up. Bradley is a little bigger but I don't think he has the same command or quality of pitches as Bundy.

It is concerning to see Bundy on the DL at such an early age.

After watching Bundy and Gausman pitch live several innings, I feel more confident about Gausman's stuff in the bigs.

That doesn't necessarily mean I think Gausman will end up being the better pitcher, I just have a feeling. I have a feeling Bundy will be another Ben McDonald, but of course, I'm hoping he pans out to be everything he projects to be and more.
