Removing them into a new holder got me thinking. Not that you two Canseco collectors really care since they likely aren't going out of your collection, but curious if it hurts the value of them if they are removed from the factory case with the "Topps Dynasty" sticker?

Now? Probably yes, a little, especially since there may be competing cards with a sticker, and people still want the "new car smell" for their cards. The big driving factor in these is going to be 1) does the buyer already have the photo variation in their collection and 2) how is the patch? In a year or two, the seal probably isn't going to matter at all. I expect these will dry up very quickly.

One issue once out of case is patch fakers down the road... Can make some of the ehhh one look like some premium ones.

Very true, however, I don't think this will cause any value issues. I would be willing to bet that with some practice, that dynasty sticker could probably be removed w/out damage or replicated (fairly closely) without much of an issue if someone wanted to do that.

I think most people won't care, but there are always some people who only want the thing in it's original form. I opened a Bowman Sterling encased card to send in to BGS, but I had pangs doing it. It gemmed, though, so I was comforted. But still, someone might not want it because of that.

I love this product but have not and likely will not invest in a single card from it. I am, however, collecting scans of all Thomas cards from this release. It's a bit overwhelming.

They look freaking sweet!

However, much like the archives fiasco, this stuff released at a bad time. I've had to sit and watch. I've picked up exactly one. I plan on getting more but not at the moment. As for the parallel ridiculousness, is it really and worse than a lot of the other things that exist out there?
