IDK who you were watching but I have not seen one commentator on either network give this trade to the Iggles.

And we'll just have to agree to dis-agree...

The majority of commentators, espn, twitter, wherever give this trade to the eagles. Apparently you skipped part of my post. "Saving money, trading a back at peak value, and getting a young cost controlled STUD is a fantastic trade"

Not from what I've seen. Most of the people around here want to trust Chip but are against the deal. His silence lately isn't helping either.

Apparently you missed the part where I mentioned that they should have gotten more for him, like most have said.

The Bills got alot closer to the Playoffs (were pretty close anyway) and the Eagles did not, at least not yet.

Wtf. Are you reading what you are typing? Nobody trades top picks for a running back. Easily the most replacable position on a football team.

How can you say the Bills got a lot closer to the playoffs. The Eagles 100% improved. Defense was the problem. Not offense BUD.

The Colts acquired running back Trent Richardson from the Cleveland Browns on Wednesday in exchange for their 2014 first-round draft pick.....

On March 4, 2004, the Broncos traded Portis to the Redskins in exchange for Bailey and a second-round pick, which the team used on running back Tatum Bell.....

Frank Gore is NOT the answer as your Starting RB. Makes a bad trade worse IMO...

Exactly. You beat me to it. McCoy is 26 and Gore will be 32 in May. Sounds like a move the Phillies would make. ::facepalm::

As a Colts fan, I was afraid Indianapolis would try and sign Gore. I'm glad the Eagles beat us to the punch.

If the rumors are true that the Eagles would give up a 1st, 2nd, 3rd pick this year and a 1st, 2nd, 3rd next year to Tampa for Mariota and Mike Evans, if I am Mariota's agent I would hold the Eagles hostage for the $$$$$ biggest deal in history of a first overall pick. The Eagles would have no choice but to pay him. Dumb, dumb, dumb. I guess they think he is better than Andrew Luck?????

Draft picks contracts are slotted now so his contract, although big would be dictated by that...

You just do not know what your talking about. Gore is NOT going to be a 3 down back. He is exactly what the eagles needed. He runs through the holes and goes north and south, not east and west losing yards every other player.

Plus with the savings they got with trading McCoy and signing Gore it is not just Gore vs McCoy. Gore fits the system much better plain and simple.

Sounds like a bet to me...

And it looks like he might bail them out by not signing anyway.

Thank you Chip, Frank, and Sam for helping the Eagles finally make a good offf-season transaction. (Murray). Go Eagles!

What about Bradford though? The mccoy move looks good now that they got demarco but Bradford seems to be the most injury prone guy in the NFL

Bradford's injury past does scare me, but I don't think he's done pursuing Mariota even if he says he is.

He said he wasn't coming to the NFL only to change his mind. He backed McCoy and Foles only to trade them.

Eagles have the best Therapy team in the league. Behind a solid O Line and in the quick offense they run we should see Bradford take a lot less hits.

Bradford is definitely an upgrade over Foles if he can be healthy.

Its all about health this year.

IDK how you can say Bradford is DEFINITELY an upgrade over Foles. Certainly not for $12 million (and a 2nd rounder) better. Most say it's about even.

And that Solid OL is soon to be missing its second best player without proven backups to step in.

Nice move by getting Murray, especially from a Rival but their best receiver is still Ertz, who they took out of their Offense for more than half of last year...
