I've been out of the hobby for quite some time but to me they look like the love child of 1990 Bowman and those horrible Topps All Star sets that were glossy.

also, unless it is a typo on the sell sheet, gold ref's are #'d to 50 & orange #'d to 25 (as always) on full size refractors, but on the mini's it's opposite Gold #'d to 25 and orange #'d to 50.... see sheet # 7

I don't mind the design and I like the 1st Bowman Logo. But Holy Parallels Batman. I like color but sheesh.

Parallels include basic Refractors (#/500), Blue Refractors (#/250), Black Refractors (#/99), Green Refractors (#/75), Gold Refractors (#/50), Orange Refractors (#/25), Red Refractors (#/5), Printing Plates and Superfractors (1/1).

With so many parallels at /99 and lower... it just kills the value of the Blue Refractors.

I think the paper color is a bit excessive but the chrome isn't much different than the good old days. Instead of Xfractors numbered to 150, we have Black numbered to 99 and Green numbered to 75. I think this is OK and I don't care a ton about the paper parallels so I can live with them.

-Not a fan of the green and black ref auto parallels. When you have something that works, why mess with it?

I don't see the need for more parallels, but if they're adding them I'd much rather have seen them numbered higher than blue (and blue left alone at /150). Perhaps something like this-
superfractor /1, red /5, purple /10, orange /25, gold /50, blue /150, black /250, green /350, ref /500

-I like the first Bowman logo.

-I don't mind the design but I wish the borders weren't enormous. They look like a nightmare for grading.

All that being said, Chrome Autos are Chrome Autos. They will sell well for the big players regardless of how many parallels there are.

With everyone complaining about the borders. Doesn't it make sense to make the borders bigger to highlight the color parallels that ultimately drive the product? Just a thought.

Since the base cards, especially the bowman, are nearly worthless, I prefer the excessive color.

Breaks the monotony of base after base after base.

Not in my opinion. For me, and I know it may be a uncommon opinion these days, photography should be first and foremost. To continually encroach on the photo just seems lazy to me. There are plenty of ways to highlight/distinguish parallels from each other without having to take up excessive cardstock real estate otherwise better used to showcase the photo. Also, the notion that making the boarders larger to highlight parallels more so because it somehow is motivated by driving the product seems flawed to me.

I hate the "1st B" logo.Really that difficult to print "Bowman" in the top corner of the card like years past?

Is that why jumbo pre sells are only $115 a box? Isn't it usually more?

jumbos always start low, now is the best time to lock in before we see cases around $1200 or more come release

just a long time to wait, as release is April

Overall I'd say the designs are ok, but will go against the majority and sat the "1st" logo is horrible. And I do want the BC logo in front
