This week's third Easy contest for $2 in FCB Bucks:

Which of the three "base" sets from 1981 is the best?

Now granted, none of the three, Topps, Donruss or Fleer was anything too memorable, but you gotta pick one.

As usual, one entry per Member. All entries will be randomized and a Winner will be selected. The contest ends Sunday 11/16 at 10PM ET.

Good Luck!

Topps all the way. They were all pretty good on my eyes though.

Topps. Donruss and Fleer had too many errors, and the designs were pretty forgettable. Not a huge fan of 81 Topps either, but best of that bunch.

I'll go with Fleer. I remember having a 1981 Fleer Tony Perez and Ken Griffey Sr and those being my most vintage cards.

Topps, despite the boring design.

Fleer had some blurry pictures and was loaded with errors.
Donruss the same, plus it was printed on paper-thin card stock.

Topps. I had a Fleer set that was so mis-cut that it was comical.

Topps

(and despite the fact the very first pack I purchased and opened was 1981 Fleer from the corner 7/11 and the very first baseball card I saw in that pack was Cecil Cooper).

Fleer, as errors are enjoyable.

Topps had a cool kitschy design with the little caps. It was the year I really got into cards, so it has a special place for me.
