is this gone now? i actually want one for something i was 2nd on, and the seller says he cant see my name.
do i have to activate it? with the new ebay, finding out how to do anything is just impossible

Actually, it took me about a minute and a half to find what you are looking for.
Ebay has this great function, it is called HELP.
You can find it in the upper right corner of every page you are one.
Really, it works wonders, give it a try.

Scroll down to the bottom of the above page, where it says "The Fine Print"
Click on "changing your notification preferences."
Be sure that "Second Chance Offer" is checked.
