Firefox can also block any code that's considered an ad generator, I believe. If there's no remote reference for it being ad content, then it may not. I do know that on the old boards, the eBay ads at the bottom didn't display on my Firefox at home.

If someone goes through the trouble of running ad block, then they shouldnt have to see the ad.
