Hi all,

I received a question about a card I am selling on ebay. It is a highend (for me, anyway) card, listed for $200. A potential buyer has asked if I can deliver it personally if they buy it since they live nearby. I am wary of this as there would be no proof of delivery if I did this. I have visions of a Paypal chargeback, with buyer saying he never received the card if I hand deliver.

I suppose he could pay in cash when I deliver, but just wanted to see what you would do. I can really use the money, and sincerely doubt that the card will sell otherwise.

Anyone have any ideas?

You've answered the question. Accept cash or MO only. IF he wants to pay w/ Paypal, you would be able to send him a receipt via D/C... WHich means you still need to pay the USPS close to $2.

If the potential buyer really wants this card at the $200 price tag, come to an agreed upon time and location then end the auction.
There is no reason, other than feedback, to have the buyer hit the BIN.
You will be charged FVF that you dont need to have happen.
Cash only, no other forms of payment.
My .02 worth.

Cash only, cancel the auction, ebay does not need to be involved at all. Handle it just like a transaction at a card show.
