Hey all,

I just listed my first high end card (2012 NT Matt Harvey patch/auto #98 /99) on ebay. I have had a few cards sell in the $30 to $40 range, but I expect this auction to reach $150+. I am just curious if you have any tips for shipping such a high end card. I typically just ship cards in a toploader and bubble-mailer with delivery confirmation. I am wondering if you have any tips regarding other things I should consider such as insurance, etc.

I would appreciate any tips, thanks.

put the toploader in a team bag, with another loader so it wont bend. insurance cant hurt either.

If it goes for over $200, you need to use Signature confirmation. You're shipping methods seem fine, but a few stiff cardboard inserts or thick white dummies couldn't hurt. Also, use a team bag over the top-loader, and skip the tape.

I use team bags as well. As a collector, I hate any mail day that involves tape. I have never had a problem with shipping in just the toploader, but using some extra toploaders/dummy cards isn't a bad idea. I appreciate the advice. Thanks.

Bolded. Nothing I hate more than peeling off tapes on top of tapes wrapped around the team bag (sometimes) or top loaders..
