Why in the world do you think it is being shilled? Not every auction on eBay is shilled.

I said it may be. I didn't disclose my belief either way, though. I honestly don't know. It's one of those situations where it may or may not be. This could be something that people sign up to ebay to bid on, I just don't know.

Rather than saying shilling, this auction has some risk for bidders who just put in a number for Shtuff and Giggles, with no intention of paying.

That is a very strange auction. Although it makes cloning Maggs easier...

That could also be the case, which would also be a shame assuming this money is going to charity.
~I may bid so that I can clone Maggs and hopefully make boockoo bucks being new-maggs' agent.~

My band was doing a fundraiser for one of our buddies and one of our guitarists had dread for like 4 years. So we sold raffle tickets to shave his head on stage. We ended up raising quite a bit of money doing that.

Seems to be a very good cause. My hope is that maybe this will help jumpstart his bat.

I don't think people are only bidding for his hair . . . There are also 18 seats for his personal suite. At live auctions, tickets in suites sell like crazy. I remember at a school's auction 2 years back, an Angels field suite sold for $20,000 for 12 tickets. It was obviously not because the winning bitter wanted to pay that much for Angels tickets, but it would help benefit the school. Along with the bat and hair, this could bring a big price that a Detroit Fan may pay.
