Question for you guys....

So i was the underbidder on this: http://offer.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewBids&_trksid=p2047675.l2565&rt=nc&item=251149433871

I'm the one with 755 feedback. My question is why is it showing the same guy bid 17 times after me (but not increase the price at all)? Is this just a glitch on ebay? Also my max bid was $25 and the high bidder won it for exactly $25. Wouldn't he have to outbid me $25.25 to have the winning bid? A little confused by both of these things...

Any help is appreciated.

Can't see the auction, but if he bid $25 first, then you bid $25 after, then it would go to that number and he would be the winner because of bidding first. In the event of a tie, it goes to the first bidder.

As for the multiple bids thing, don't know.

If I'm reading this correctly...........

My guess is that he outbid you when he did bid (probably bidding $25.01-$25.25 or something) and immediately realized how close his bid was to yours. Possibly thinking that due to the closeness, you or other bidders would outbid him at his rate and so he kept increasing his max bid. That's my best guess and nothing more. Seventeen times seems to be a bit excessive to figure out how much you're willing to pay for something though.

The link doesn't take me to the listing though so I can't see anything.
