cubnut was a nightmare. I block people all the time with things the way they are on ebay I would take a few dollars less then *censor* feedback thats undeserved. To the guy who said cardboardbeautys is an all right guy dude you will loose creditability for even saying that. The people who my friends say are terrible is enough for me to block them. Vice versa.

Please post your lists of buyers to block here, I will eventually update the list so the first post so it has a comprehensive list.

I'll start:

bgstainan - lots of offers, never paid
cardboardbeautys - shady business practices, debatable to block
cubnut - hostile bidder the returned items for nonexistant damage to card
moneycardz- lots of offers, never paid
sc18tw- lots of offers, never paid
ballinbeaver - unecessary neg for being "too greedy"

This is my list. Looks like I need to update. Great post.

7325george, baron1333, battleoffornia, bgstainan, biddingforfun10, chisox201015, cjs_college_fund, gnccards05, goonies-neversaydie, jageredagain, jjuliusjr, jose0305, joshshou0917, kissees, landonsprasky, marc79*205, rookiecardsandautos, sportskid17, thecardpodcastcom, tonsofprospects, treemsports, tspinn77, uniquecards, zsjw6

Jose0305 is one of mine as well.
Bin'd my Martin Perez Orange and tied it up for a while.....got a few excuse e-mails and then finally filed the NPB.
Probably cost me a bit of money.

I posted about it and it turned out he did the same thing to multiple members here after the Bowman release.

I don't know that it's a lifetime ban. If he wanted to be on here he could probably email me and get access. I've never seen him rip anyone off, he's just really aggressive and pushy.

If you are a preferred seller consider blocking this bidder. The buyer has solid feedback and paid for the item. Payment on 1/26, case opened on 2/9. This would be slow on the USPS side but not unrealistic given all the snow in Illinois lately. I blocked this buyer because the buyer opened a case rather than contact me first to advise the item was not received (if it is even not received as would be perhaps only the second in 10,000 transactions). Why is this important? Preferred sellers will lose preferred status if more than two of these cases are opened in a three month period. I have a high tolerance for eBay nonsense but have no tolerance for lack of communication when problems arise. There is a button a buyer can select to ask the seller a question.

Here's my latest. Made offer on Jan 29. Accepted on Jan 29. Then proceeded to buy and pay for all kinds of other stuff on Ebay including a $275 roll of half dollars. Ignored original invoice, the invoice I sent on day 5 and all 4 days of whatever happens when you have a NPB case open on you. zero communication and this clown's a seller too. Made me wait all 12 days before I could relist the card which sold again immediately but for a $5.00 loss

I would have had no problem with this guy if I didn't see his feedback go up day after day for purchases made after he "bought" my card

http://cgi.ebay.com/2010-Topps-Upda...0696374657?pt=US_Baseball&hash=item3f06c2e181

If he didn't want it any more, then fine, at least have the balls to contact the seller and work your way out of it.

The problem with Ebay's feedback is right here - this guy has perfect feedback and I wonder how many other times he's pulled this same crap with others and no one will ever know about it

Re: Ebay Bidders to Block

I have a list of roughly 60, but the one I would HIGHLY recommend blocking is

stalker125

Don't let the feedback full you. He is a professional scammer who likes to beat the easy to abuse paypal system. If you google his name, you'll find 3 people, including me who he has scammed. His name is Brian Gutierrez and he lives in Flushings, NY or East Helmurst or something. I have his full address if anyone thinks they know this tool. Google images shows he lives in the ghetto, so apparently he likes to rip people off every blue moon when he can't afford to pay the rent. Egg his place or something if you happen to go by there. Bottom line, he sold me an item with a stolen scan for $403 (didn't know the scan was stolen till after the fact). After weeks, I asked for my item, no response. I filed a claim demanding an item number. He happily obliged. My package arrived with my address in the return address section. Inside was a $5 auto instead of the $403 item. I filed a second paypal claim, he never responded to it. I won the second case, but no funds were recovered. As a buyer, he apparently likes to file paypal claims on items that aren't sent with a DC number. If only he weren't 700 miles away...

Oh, and yes, as others have posted, block Tspinn77. The dude started out alright after he bought a few of my items. He called me up talking about cards and prospects, although he seemed to lack social skills as he always interrupted and never let me expound on a thought. Then I made the mistake of giving him a link to my photobucket account, next thing I know I am getting bombarded with text messages every minute from him asking "Do you want to sell XXXX cheap?!?!?!" Finally, I just ignored him, only to have him message me over an auction I had up that he wanted me to end early for him. The item was serial numbered to the players jersey number. I replied no to his offer because I thought it was low and I had been offered much higher a few months earlier and it was something you know who was buying. The auction ended up going for less than his offer price (my luck with auctions). He replies with some smart*** comments about how cards numbered to the players jersey number don't bring premiums anymore, despite numerous examples I provided to him showing how wrong he was, and how I was an idiot for not taking his offer, yada yada yada. Now he likes to drop random compliment/insults on me saying "you have nice cards but you're still a chick with a dick." . I get a kick out of it, but I don't want him bidding on my stuff because the dude might be crazy.

Re: Ebay Bidders to Block

bgsportscardscom

Few weeks ago when the Bowman Sterling came out, I pulled a Hayden Simpson Gold Ref Auto and put it on Ebay. This buyer asked me to end it early at $20, and I told him thanks, but no thanks and I am going to let this auction finish... About 15 hours before this auction was ending, this same buyer emailed me again and asked me - are you sure you want to wait because no one wants it but me - I will buy it now for $20; again I said I am sorry and I am still going to let this auction end itself in 15 hours. At the VERY last second, this buyer bidded highest and ended up at $35.77. So far he hasn't paid in 2 weeks, and I asked him nicely, will you be paying for this card? He just ignores me. I already filed the unpaid item strike, and I have to wait til March 2nd!

Why are few buyers ignorant and pathetic?!?

Wow, I can't believe these stories. I buy and sell 100s of items a month and have little or no problems have no negatives or block anyone....guess I am lucky.

Problems for me as a seller are rare despite selling one to tho thousand items a year. Rare doesn't mean nonexistent, however. Take the collective on FCB, even if each of us has had only one or two problem bidders, and you will potentially end up with a fairly long list. That said, we're still probably only discussing a fraction of one percent of all card buyers. I have always been leery of blocking anyone but with eBay becoming quite the stickler lately and the potential to lose significant selling discounts I see ample value in blocking potential problems before they occur.

I find it humorous for you to post about having little or no problems on eBay.

A simple search through FCB's database shows quite a handful of problems/situations you have had on eBay.

I definitely wouldn't call you lucky, just someone with a poor memory ;)

Hahaha!

Honestly, I'd def recommend utilizing block bidder feature bc honestly, it will save u the headaches that we've all gone through with certain buyers.

This post is just trying to help each other out
