I'm not sure how they figure it out...

I always try to justify spending a little more than I normally would on these purchases since I'm getting money back. For instance, if I'm willing to spend $1000 on a card and get $20 back from a normal ebay bucks deal then I tell myself I'm really only spending $980 on the card. Now that I'm getting 10% back if I purchase the same card I would bid $1070 (if it's something I really want), get $100 rebate (since it's capped at $100) and think to myself I'm still saving money and getting a great deal since I now have $970 in the card. I know I'm wrong for thinking that but I do collect baseball cards.

I hope to share with you guys what I hope to win tomorrow.
