Hey Everyone,

When I click on an item that has sold via BIN or BO it just says that it was sold at the price of the BIN even if a best offer was accepted.

Has this been happening to anybody else? How can I change it?

Just for example here is one of my completed listings
http://www.ebay.com/itm/Jedd-Gyorko...0738643665?pt=US_Baseball&hash=item43b15fa2d1
It says it sold for $700 when it actually sold for $450. $700 was just the BIN or BO price.

Any help is appreciated.

Thanks!

That makes sense. I saw a card this morning sell BIN and I had a very hard time believing it sold that high. Must be some new glitch. I noticed today I bought a couple cards and on my ebay page, it says free shipping under the price. The total from that seller is correct though, stating the actual combined shipping I paid.

This has been going on for months for me...i just thought it was a new thing for ebay since I had never changed any preferences. If anyone knows how to covert it back to the old way, please share.

Until today, opening the auction link in IE would show the actual price. Now I don't know what to do.

This started for me a few days ago, and it's ridiculously annoying. Nobody cares what the original BIN is, nor is it helpful to anybody. Hopefully there will be a change soon.

Same here, I first noticed it on a couple items I sold back in early July

Why would eBay want to display the accepted price? If the listing was for $200 and shows sold for $200 the odds are another sale could go close the the BIN, they are in business and the FVF is a big part of their model.

This is quite recent. Up until the last few days the first page you get would show the BIN price, but clicking on "See Original Listing" would show the actual Best Offer price that was accepted. That's flat out stupid on eBay's part. And the mobile apps have never given the accepted price.

EDIT: This still happens on some auctions actually. Sometimes you still see the BO accepted price, but it's wildly inconsistent. How does this make sense??

I can't even look up completed listings unless I make it vague. I typed in Cris Carter Press Pass Auto and got nothing but when I just did Cris Carter Press Pass I got a few. Same goes for pretty much any auto I look up right now

Agreed. The whole completed ebay search in general is screwed up right now. Things that have sold within the last day or two, I will attempt to search for it and can't find it unless I have the auction number. If I use auto* in my regular search, once I go to ebay completed, that no longer works as a search method. Not sure if that's the new completed search or if they are having problems, but I definitely don't like it.
