eBay down for everyone?

I have bidding on a bunch of stuff, and losing at the last minute. I don't think it is gonig to be as bad for the sellers as you think

man it would suck to be selling right now. I wonder how many sellers are not gonna ship stuff that gets sold today

do you guys think ebay will compensate the sellers in any way for this problem?

I would think that they will not hold sellers to complete any auction that ended during the outage. They should also give free relisting.

there isn't much of ANYTHING decent auction style...sellers must have called and ended their auctions.

They'll hold the sellers to complete the auctions, as it would tick off buyers if they didn't. The fact that it's been "down" (not really, but you know what I mean) for almost the whole day this close to the holidays will force them to have some kind of cheap listing day I would imagine. It's not just auctions that are affected; stores have been up and down all day as well.

Not only will they still hold sellers accountable for those, they will hammer you if the "stars" are down!
