I purchased a card yesterday and paid immediately via paypal. Today I checked my auctions won and the money icon that turns blue when you've paid for an item had an hourglass icon there. When mousing over it, it says my payment is being processed through paypal. Then I logged into paypal and the status for the payment of that card says unclaimed. Anyone know what's going on here? I've never had this happen or seen this before. Thanks for any help.

After contacting ebay and paypal, I found out what the problem was with this payment. Before a seller sells on ebay they are supposed to have a verified or business paypal account so that they can receive money. Somehow this seller just had the basic account that only allows for buying and not selling or receiving money. Right now my money is in limbo since the seller can't claim it. If he upgrades his account then he can claim the funds and hopefully the sale will go through and I'll get my card. If not, I get my money back but no card
He has 30 days to upgrade his account and do this, but I won't wait that long to open a dispute if he doesn't communicate with me.
It's not a huge purchase, but it was an auto I wanted and was happy to win. Here's the auction:

I sent a message to the seller. Here's what I sent to him:
"I contacted ebay and paypal about the payment situation regarding this card. I paid for it on Jan. 10th, however, I was told that since your paypal account is not upgraded to verified or business you cannot receive payment. As soon as your paypal account is upgraded accordingly, you should be able to receive the payment I sent so that I can get the card I purchased from you. I'm very excited and interested in receiving the card I purchased. Please let me know what you plan on doing to resolve this situation so that you can get your money and I can get my card. Thanks.
PS. despite these minor complications, I have no problem leaving you perfect positive feedback if we can work out this situation."
Hopefully this gets worked out, but I'm not all that optimistic
Anyway, I posted this so that if anyone else runs into a similar situation, hopefully they'll know what's going on.
