How do you force someone to choose the applicable Shipping?
I currently have an "Other -- see description" option that I use for people with insanely good feedback. It's essentially shipping without insurance. In the description, I make it abundantly clear that unless we agree upon this "OTHER -- SEE DESCRIPTION" option first, the buyer must pay for insured shipping.
Yet, people keep hitting bins and choosing this option. The first couple of times I figured I'd just say screw it and pay the difference, but now I'm getting frustrated.
Should I just remove this option? I mean, I use it about 50% of the time and it's a lower price, so it attracts people.
I can't figure out how to formally request that they pay the difference between what they've paid and what they owe.
