The dumbest part about it of all is that such an absurd minority of your total feedback can be used by eBay to eff you over. I'm currently in the 'warning zone' for DSRs even though it's less than 2.5% of my total transactions causing it. So I guess if 3/100 people end up unhappy with something you aren't good enough for eBay.

edit: And TONS of my feedback mentions how happy buyers were with the quality of my packing. I ship top loader/team bag, tape cardboard around the card(s) and only THEN do I put it in a bubble mailer. Near zero chance anything I mail gets damaged, 90% of my packages sent first class actually make it in 2-3 days as advertised (& the ones that don't are out of my hands once they get to the post office) yet I'm STILL getting dinged!

So, if any of you have had these stupid limits enacted, what, other than an act of congress, does it take to get rid of them?

1) Created a new ebay account linked to the same paypal account and haven't looked back since.
2) Wait 1 full year for the low DSR's to drop off of your old account. Depending on the specifics of your limits, you probably won't be able to list enough items to bring your percentage down, and there is no way that you can reduce your total number of low ratings as those are fixed.

edit: You can tell when the low ratings will drop off by looking at your 12 month trending data. For instance, on my main account, I should have 1 low shipping DSR drop this month, but then I have to wait until July to have another one drop off.

By the way just in case anyone didn't know, on April 19th Ebay is changing their fee policy and charging fees on shipping costs too. So you either have to raise it even more to make up for that or offer free shipping like they want.
